GTMR's Louis Cabanillas takes First Place at ECGC

GTMR is proud of our talented artists and developers who excel in the creative/tech world. Here's another example as one of our own, Louis Cabanillas, and his indie game development team "Upside Down Bird" took first place at the 2018 East Coast Game Conference.

ECGC was held at Raleigh NC this year and sponsored by big game companies like: Epic Games, Insomniac, Red Storm, and even Imangi. It was a three day event in which different schools, and many other game developers came to show their work and interact with one another.

This was also Upside Down Bird’s first conference. They entered to win the Indie Game Prize which consists of $1000 and a chance to win the International Indie Game Prize at Casual Connect Europe, in London May 29-31. To their surprise, Upside Down Bird’s game, Super Gravity Ball, was selected as the winner at ECGC. "We are very excited, proud, and now working our butts off to polish another demo to show in London." said Louis.

Great job and good luck in London!
